Anne L. Day - Healing Touch Hawaii Founder & Instructor Anne has over 30 years experience as a holistically oriented nurse and health educator. She has a Masters in Health and Wellness, is a nationally certified Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor, Holistic Nurse, Journal Instructor and Massage Therapist. Anne founded Healing Touch Hawaii in 1996, and helped develop two holistic health centers in Colorado. Anne is a past-president of Healing Touch International. She travels extensively, speaking and teaching about heart-centered healing and holism. Savitri Kumaran Savitri is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor. Savitri has been an OB nurse for over 40 years. Her studies in Hindu Metaphysics and Hawaiian culture and spirituality have given her a strong foundation in the knowledge of energy fields and healing arts. Savitri served on the Board of Directors for Healing Touch International for five years. She has taught Healing Touch in Hawaii, India and Thailand and oversees the Healing Touch Volunteer program at Wilcox Memorial Hospital where she works on her home island of Kauai. Carolyn Ma Pharm.D., BCOP, CHTP/I Dr. Carolyn Ma has over 15 years of health care experience that includes a unique integrative oncology practice, teaching and practicing Healing Touch, utilizing herbs and indigenous medicine and developing international cancer centers in Asia. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from UCSF and is founder of HEARxT Enterprises, where she offers workshops that help practitioners explore how to live authentic and joyful lives. Dr. Sarah Porter has over 10 years of Healing Touch practice and 30 years of practice as a psychiatric mental health nurse clinical specialist with a holistic perspective. She is the co-author of the book, “Women’s Health and Human Wholeness”, emphasizing the necessity of bringing the feminine principle back into the health care system. She has taught nursing at University of Hawaii, Oregon Health Sciences University, and St. Luke’s College of Nursing in Tokyo. She conducts level 1 workshops in Japan and Hawaii.
