Anne L. Day - Healing Touch Hawaii Founder & Instructor

Anne has over 30 years experience as a holistically oriented nurse and health educator. She has a Masters in Health and Wellness, is a nationally certified Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor, Holistic Nurse, Journal Instructor and Massage Therapist. Anne founded Healing Touch Hawaii in 1996, and helped develop two holistic health centers in Colorado. Anne is a past-president of Healing Touch International. She travels extensively, speaking and teaching about heart-centered healing and holism. As Director of Healing Touch Hawaii, Anne’s mission is to bring healing and heart-centered living to as many people as possible on the islands.

Savitri Kumaran

Savitri is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor with over 20 years’ experience as a Certified Obstetrical Nurse and Childbirth Educator. Her studies with the Saiva Siddhanta Yoga Order and Hawaiian culture has given her a strong foundation in the knowledge of energy fields and healing arts. Presently, Savitri is the President of Healing Touch International and an instructor for Healing Touch Hawaii. “Sharing energy and information in this way is for me, the ‘Spirit of Aloha.”

Carolyn Ma
Pharm.D., BCOP, CHTP/I
Dr. Carolyn Ma has over 15 years of health care experience that includes a unique integrative oncology practice, teaching and practicing Healing Touch, utilizing herbs and indigenous medicine and developing international cancer centers in Asia. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from UCSF and is founder of HEARxT Enterprises, where she offers workshops that help practitioners explore how to live authentic and joyful lives. She currently practices, teaches and consults with clients in Hawaii and Asia. "Any chosen modality is strengthened with the wisdom of other methods. Our most significant contribution as healers comes from working on the light of a heart centered spirit." |

Lori Protzman

Lori is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor. She has
been an obstetrical nurse for over 25 years and currently is the Perinatal Nurse Manager and HT Coordinator at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Lori blends her passion for heart-centered work with her nursing capabilities in the hospital.

Anne is a certified Healing Touch practitioner and instructor with 20 years experience as a nurse practitioner and energy healer. She is currently the Healing Services Leader at North Hawaii Community Hospital and on the faculty of the Traditional Chinese Medical College of Hawaii. |

Sarah E. Porter
RN MS MPH PhD CHTP/I
Dr. Sarah Porter has over 10 years of Healing Touch practice and 30 years of practice as a psychiatric mental health nurse clinical specialist with a holistic perspective. She is the co-author of the book, “Women’s Health and Human Wholeness”, emphasizing the necessity of bringing the feminine principle back into the health care system. She has taught nursing at University of Hawaii, Oregon Health Sciences University, and St. Luke’s College of Nursing in Tokyo. She conducts level 1 workshops in Japan and Hawaii. She lives and practices healing touch on Maui. |
